Samantha Zylstra, LMFT with over fifteen years of experience is excited to be working with a group of excellent clinicians.  Her clinical work has focused on providing clients a safe place for healing and deep personal growth. She specializes in treating people and their families who struggle with eating disorders.  Eating disorders reflect an unmanageable life in which an individual is using food to cope and avoid feelings. These illnesses can be very scary for the individual and surrounding friends and family.  She works with clients to develop healthy coping skills and to discover inner peace.  She is a trained internal family systems therapist.  This evidence based approach assumes each individual possesses a variety of sub-personalities, or "parts", and attempts to get to know each of these parts better to achieve healing.  Clients experience healing in a non-threatening and accepting way.
